Robert M. DeNichilo

Robert M. DeNichilo specializes in the representation of Homeowners Associations as general counsel. Robert regularly attends HOA board meetings and provides guidance in complying with the Davis‐Stirling Act, enforcement of CC&Rs, planning and holding elections, amending bylaws and CC&Rs, and reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts and developer obligations. Robert publishes a blog on relevant Association topics at HOABrief.com, and has contributed his expertise to industry and national publications including USA Today. Robert received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Robert began his legal career as an extern for the Honorable Gary L. Taylor, of the United States District Court, drafting opinions on a variety of matters. His experience working closely with Judge Taylor provided unique insight into the decision making process of the judicial system. Robert has provided insurance coverage advice to insurers and has experience defending insurance carriers in large, multi‐million dollar litigation, and was selected from a panel of counsel to manage a nationwide class action matter.

Robert dedicates his practice to advising homeowner associations throughout Southern California as general counsel. Robert is a member of Community Association Institute (CAI), and serves on the Legislative Support Committees of both the Orange County and Greater Inland Empire chapters. Robert also regularly speaks at educational sessions for property management companies and Board members.
